"I'm not really sure what happened," said Sprague regarding the Lap 24 incident that damaged the NetZero Pontiac. "I saw Sterling (Marlin) pound the fence going into turn one. We all slowed down pretty decent and then I saw Bobby (Labonte) spinning. Then I saw nothing but smoke and tried to follow Kevin Harvick through it. Harvick got hit by somebody, but I don't know who it was. I thought I had it about cleared and then Bobby slid back up in front of me and I got him.

"The NetZero Pontiac was really loose in the beginning of the race. I spun out on the frontstretch and fortunately didn't hit anything and then got a caution flag, which was cool. After that we were running pretty good. It just seems like we can't catch a break."

NOTES OF INTEREST -

Sprague was caught up in a Lap 24 accident that involved seven cars. The NetZero team spent over 140 laps in the garage area making repairs to the car, which sustained severe front-end damage.
