JACK SPRAGUE LAS VEGAS QUOTES:
ON RACING AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY: “I have always loved LVMS, it
has been good to me and a great place to race. I have always thought the NCTS
belonged here as a series. We could run here twice a year as far as I am concerned.
There are always tracks that really suit a driver and a team. LVMS is one of
those for me. It is wide, fast and very racy. Time, weather and laps by numerous
series make subtle changes to any track but LVMS has always been very predictable
and consistent. It makes it much easier for a team to roll into the track with
a setup that is close to what you will need for the race. This will be my second
race here with the IWX Racing Team. I ran here last fall with them getting
prepared for this season and had a great run so I feel confident we will be
on the right page with the Chevy Trucks Silverado right off the transporter."
ON 2004 SEASON TO DATE: “We are building momentum for next year. We have
had some great trucks this year, just had lots of things break and some bad
luck. Last week at Richmond we raced at one of my favorite tracks, we just
didn’t hit it right. I feel the same way about this place and today went
a whole lot better. We will go on the Las Vegas and run for the win. We will
be a serious contender for the championship next year. This year we want to
get as much as we can.”
