Jack comments on racing at the California Speedway:
“I have had good luck at the California Speedway since
the first Craftsman Truck Series race there. I love
that track, it is a fun place to race and the trucks always
put on a good show for the fans. I’ve had two
wins in the Craftsman Truck Series and a pole in the Busch
Series. If we came to California more than once in a season
I’d be happy. Tony Furr and the Wyler Racing crew have
built a fast truck for the California race and I’m
hoping to bring home another win there - this time in the
No. 60 Con-Way Tundra.”
Jack discusses the California race being back
to back after Daytona:
“I like having back to back races. It is much easier
to get a momentum going and keep it going when the races
are closer together. We already have a good start to the
2006 season leaving Daytona with a top-five finish and taking
our truck home without a scratch on it which will give us
some momentum going into California.”
Jack comments on Con-Way Racing:
“We had a good run for the 20,000 plus employees of
Con-Way in Daytona coming close to a win. There will
be a large group of employees in the stands this weekend
and I wouldn’t like anything better then to get my
third win at the California Speedway for them in the No.
60 Con-Way Tundra.”
