Sprague On Racing at Memphis:
“I’ve always run well at Memphis. I’ve picked
up a couple of poles there and a win, so I guess you could say that
I am pretty comfortable at the track. The most important thing to
remember about Memphis is that it is a short track – so track
position is key. It will be hot at Memphis temperature wise – and
I’m sure that there will be some heated tempers out on the
race track, too. But the driver just has to remember that you have
to stay out of trouble and be around at the end of the race if you
want a chance to win. We’ve run two short tracks this season
in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series – Martinsville and Mansfield.
We struggled at Martinsville, but we were the runners-up at Mansfield.
I would like for this No. 60 Con-way Freight Team to have a repeat
performance of what we did at Mansfield, but this time, I would like
to be the team celebrating in Victory Lane.”
Career at Memphis Motorsports Park:
Sprague has six career starts at Memphis Motorsports Park in the
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. In six starts, Sprague has scored
two poles, one win and four top-10 finishes.

Sprague Reflects on the 2006 Season at the Half-way Point:
“I’ve said it before, and I will say it again – I
have been very impressed with what this Wyler Racing team has accomplished
in just over a year’s time. Milwaukee was the team’s
one year anniversary. After a year’s time – here we are
sitting in the Top 10 in points and have the support of an awesome
sponsor like Con-way Freight. The only thing that is missing is a
win, and I think we are knocking on the door of that each and every
week. We’ve had our share of adversity, but we haven’t
given up. The guys are knocking out great pit stops each week. I
don’t think this team has reached its full potential just yet.
I know that we are capable of going out on the track, dominating
the race and celebrating in Victory Lane. I won’t rest until
we have accomplished that goal – and I know this Wyler Racing
team won’t either.”
