Jack Sprague on Racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS):
“Homestead-Miami Speedway is a great track for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. It’s fast and wide, which makes for some exciting racing. One of the key factors at Homestead over the past few years has been a lack of grip, which can really affect the handling of your truck. To win at Homestead, we will have to have the No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota where it handles well throughout the course of the race.”

“Homestead is one of those race tracks where I have had a lot of success, but somehow a win has just escaped me time and time again. I have several runner-up finishes and even a couple of third-place finishes there, and now, I want that win there more than ever. Tundra to Make 100th Craftsman Truck Series Start:
When the green flag waves to start Friday night’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, it will mark the 100th NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) start for the Toyota Tundra, which debuted in the series at the beginning of the 2004 season. During the past four years, 10 teams and 39 drivers have combined to make a total of 847 starts for Toyota in the Craftsman Truck Series. In 99 races, Tundra drivers have registered 37 victories and captured 49 pole positions. “It’s a great milestone for Toyota to make our 100th start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series,” said Jim Aust, vice president - motorsports, TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). “When we joined the series in 2004, we knew the key to our success would be aligning ourselves with the right people in the garage. The accomplishments we’ve achieved in our first 100 races are a result of the dedication of the teams and drivers that have campaigned Tundras over the past four seasons, as well as the hard work of everyone at TRD.” Toyota clinched its second-consecutive NCTS manufacturer’s championship at Virginia’s Martinsville Speedway (Oct. 20), when series points-leader Mike Skinner crossed the finish line first in his Tundra. Toyota also won the manufacturer’s championship and driver’s title (Todd Bodine) in 2006.
Jack Sprague’s Career at the South Florida Speedway:
Jack Sprague has had an impressive career at Homestead-Miami Speedway while racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS). Sprague has eight top-five and nine top-10 finishes in only ten starts. Sprague has led laps in all but three of his starts at the 1.5-mile oval and has accumulated three runner-up finishes. Sprague also has one NASCAR Busch Series and one NASCAR Nextel Cup Series start to his credit at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
